Display your catalog on your site and turn on the Shopping cart
How automatic catalog pages work, how to insert catalog blocks in the editor, and how to turn on the shopping cart.
On this page
- Your store’s automatic pages: category indexes (/services, /digital, /products, /bookings) and individual offer pages
- Customize the look and layout of catalog and product pages from the dashboard or the editor
- Insert Catalog blocks on any page (Grid, List, Carousel, and Featured offer)
- Turn on the Shopping cart (Settings → Site settings → Use a cart) so customers can buy multiple items in a single shipment
- Which offers use the cart and which keep their direct button (bookings and subscriptions)
Once you publish your offers, véltica gives you two complementary ways to showcase them: automatic pages for each category and product (ready to share on WhatsApp or social media), and catalog blocks you can drop into any page from the editor.
Your store’s automatic pages: category indexes (/services, /digital, /products, /bookings) and individual offer pages
Each of the four areas of your catalog has a public index page that gathers all published offers of that type, in addition to each offer’s own individual page:
| Category in the dashboard | Public index path | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Catalog → Services | /services |
All your published services without a schedule. |
| Catalog → Digital products | /digital |
All your published downloadable files. |
| Catalog → Physical products | /products |
Your entire physical shop (out-of-stock items show Sold out). |
| Catalog → Bookable services | /bookings |
All your published bookable services (and each one lives at /book/<slug>). |
To turn on or configure any of these index pages, go to its section in Catalog, open Page settings (Public page), and turn on Publish the page. From there you can copy the direct link or share it on WhatsApp, and choose whether to show or hide the Site navigation bar and the Site footer.
In addition, inside each offer’s detail page you will find the Page tab, where you can change its URL (Address), customize its Google title and description (SEO), pick a custom share image for social media, and decide whether it appears in search engines and the Sitemap.
Customize the look and layout of catalog and product pages from the dashboard or the editor
Not every shop sells the same way: a clothing catalog needs large photos and visible variants, while a consultancy needs to highlight text. You can switch the layout with one click using the Change design button (Page designs) in either the dashboard or the editor:
- Designs for list pages (category indexes):
- Grid: The title at the top and your offers arranged in three columns.
- Cover + grid: A header with the latest offer’s photo, a soft blur, title, and description, followed by the three-column grid.
- Two columns: A centered title and larger cards, two by two.
- Rows: One offer per row with the photo on one side and the text on the other.
- Title on the side: The title fixed on the left and the offers on the right.
- Designs for each offer’s individual page:
- Classic: Photos on one side; text and purchase on the other.
- Vertical gallery and sticky purchase: Scroll through photos on the left, with a sticky purchase panel and expandable
+details on the right. - Variants in view: Photos and text on top; below, the size or color options and the purchase button.
- Purchase on the side, Cover, Showcase, Separate gallery, or Minimal (a single column with text and button, without photos).
You can also adjust colors, fonts, and button styles in the offer’s Appearance tab. These changes use your brand styles and go live as soon as you save—no need to republish the site.
Insert Catalog blocks on any page (Grid, List, Carousel, and Featured offer)
If you want to display your products on your Home page or on a specific landing page, open the Editor, go to the Insert panel (or Templates → Products), and drag in any of the blocks connected to your catalog:
- Catalog grid: Displays your offers in responsive columns.
- Catalog list: Presents your offers in detailed horizontal rows.
- Catalog carousel: Lets visitors swipe horizontally through your products or services.
- Featured offer: Inserts a dedicated card or section for a single specific product or service with its direct action button.
Because these blocks read directly from your Catalog, whenever you change a price, upload a new photo, or run out of stock in the dashboard, the block updates automatically.
Turn on the Shopping cart (Settings → Site settings → Use a cart) so customers can buy multiple items in a single shipment
By default, each offer is bought individually when a visitor clicks its button. If you sell multiple products and want customers to put together an order with several items and pay a single shipping rate, turn on the cart:
- In the dashboard sidebar, go to Settings → Site settings.
- Scroll down to the Cart section and turn on the Use a cart toggle.
- Open the editor and click Publish so the change appears in your live site’s navigation bar and buttons.
Once enabled, your site’s navigation bar automatically shows the cart icon with an item counter, and your customers can add multiple units or variant combinations before checking out in a single Stripe payment.
Which offers use the cart and which keep their direct button (bookings and subscriptions)
When Use a cart is turned on, véltica automatically detects what type of offer the visitor is looking at and gives it the right button:
| Offer type | Behavior with the cart enabled | Why it works this way |
|---|---|---|
| One-time physical products, digital products, and services | Their button changes to Add to cart. | They can be combined in a single order and share a single shipping rate. |
| Recurring subscriptions | Keep their direct purchase button (Subscribe). | A subscription creates its own recurring billing agreement and does not mix with one-time cart purchases. |
| Bookable services (Bookings) | Keep their direct button (Book / See times). | Every appointment requires picking a date and real-time slot and filling out its booking form. |
