Create, organize, and manage your site’s pages
How to add pages with AI or templates, choose your home page, duplicate pages, and keep your site menu organized.
On this page
- View your pages from the Dashboard (Website → Pages) or inside the Editor (top Pages menu)
- Create a new page with the assistant (templates, AI, or blank)
- Change which page is your site’s Home page
- Rename, duplicate, reorder, and delete pages
- How the navigation bar and footer update automatically when you create or delete pages
Every page on your site has its own canvas, its own address, and its place in the menu. You can organize your entire structure from the dashboard or right while you design in the editor.
View your pages from the Dashboard (Website → Pages) or inside the Editor (top Pages menu)
You have two places to manage your project’s pages, and both show the exact same structure:
- From the dashboard: go to Website → Pages. You’ll see a table with all your site’s internal pages, their creation date, when they were Last edited, and a search bar to filter them by name or by Starred only.
- Without leaving the editor: click Pages in the top-left bar of the editor. The panel opens with three groups: Your pages (the static pages you design from scratch or templates), Automatic (your catalog, shop, and bookings pages), and Collections (dynamic pages from the CMS and blog).
Clicking any page in the editor panel takes you straight to its canvas without reloading the window.
Create a new page with the assistant (templates, AI, or blank)
To add a page, click New page in Website → Pages or the New button inside the editor’s Pages panel. The Choose how to start assistant opens with three paths:
| Option | When to pick it | What it does for you |
|---|---|---|
| Generate with AI | You want a custom-built page for your business (About us, Services, Pricing, FAQ, or Contact). | You describe what you need (at least 15 characters), pick or reorder the suggested sections, and the AI writes the copy and finds images. |
| Templates | You prefer starting from a proven visual layout. | Filter by category (Home, About, Services, Pricing, Contact, Landing, Portfolio) and preview the page before creating it. |
| Blank page | You know exactly which blocks you want to place from scratch. | Creates an empty canvas ready for you to add sections. |
Your brand travels with it: whichever path you choose, the new page automatically inherits your project’s color palette, typography, and button styles.
Change which page is your site’s Home page
The home page is the front door that opens when someone visits your main address (yourbusiness.com) without typing anything after it. It always carries the Home page badge next to its name.
If you designed a new page and want to make it your front page:
- In Website → Pages, open the actions menu (
⋯) for that page and choose Set as home. - Or open Page settings inside the editor and click Make it the home page under General information.
The previous home page isn’t deleted: it becomes a regular internal page with its own address (slug).
Rename, duplicate, reorder, and delete pages
From the options menu (⋯) on each row in Website → Pages—or from the page settings icon in the editor—you can:
- Rename: updates the title you use to identify the page in your dashboard and in browser tabs.
- Duplicate: creates an exact copy of the page with all its sections and blocks, adding
(copy)to the name and-copyto its address. Ideal when you want to test a design variation or build several service pages with the same layout. - Publish or move to draft: inside Page settings, you can turn off the Publish this page toggle. When off, the page stays in your editor so you can keep working on it, but it doesn’t exist on the published site.
- Delete: removes the page and its content. If you need to delete several at once, check the boxes on the left in Website → Pages and use the bulk action.
Two safety rules: the home page cannot be deleted or unpublished (make another page the home page first if you want to remove it), and every site must keep at least one page.
How the navigation bar and footer update automatically when you create or delete pages
By default, your navigation bar (Site menu) and footer (Site footer) are set to Automatic mode: they build themselves from your published pages and your catalog.
- When you create and publish a new page, its link is automatically added to the top menu and footer.
- When you rename a page or change its address (
slug), the menu links pointing to it update on their own so no button is left broken. - When you delete a page or leave it unpublished, it disappears from the menu the next time you publish your changes.
If you prefer to control by hand which links appear and in what order, select the navigation bar or footer on the canvas: as soon as you add, hide, or reorder links manually, the menu switches to You control this and keeps your custom selection.
