Check your Account usage and per-site Usage and limits
Learn which resources are shared across your account and which are counted per site, when quotas reset, and how downgrades work.
On this page
- Difference between Account usage (shared allowance: AI, total storage, projects) and Settings → Usage and limits inside a specific project
- How file storage, monthly site traffic, form submissions, contacts, and AI credits are measured
- What happens when you approach or reach 100% of a limit and when monthly counters reset
- What happens if you downgrade and a project exceeds the new plan’s limits (Plan Overage)
So you always know how much space or capacity you have left without any surprises, véltica displays your counters in two different places depending on whether the resource belongs to an individual site or to your entire account.
Difference between Account usage (shared allowance: AI, total storage, projects) and Settings → Usage and limits inside a specific project
Not all limits work the same way: some are measured inside each site, while others draw from a single shared allowance on your personal account.
- In
User menu → Account usage(Shared allowance): here you see what all the projects you own share together:- Projects: how many owned sites you’ve created out of your plan’s total (
2on Starter,5on Pro,20on Business). Projects where you were invited as a collaborator don’t count here. - AI generations: full sites or pages created from scratch with the AI wizard (
3in total on Starter,50/monthon Pro,200/monthon Business). - AI assistant: your monthly conversation and editing allowance with the editor’s AI chat across all of your projects combined.
- Storage: total space used by images, videos, and files in your media library (
1 GBon Starter,10 GBon Pro,100 GBon Business). - Form submissions: total messages received this month across the forms of all your sites (
25/monthon Starter,1,000/monthon Pro,5,000/monthon Business).

Settings → Usage and limitsinside a project (Per site): here you see what that specific site uses against the project owner’s per-site limits:- Pages (

How file storage, monthly site traffic, form submissions, contacts, and AI credits are measured
Four rules always work in your favor:
- Drafts, appointments, and sales never use up quota: you can prepare as many Draft offers or blog posts as you like; they only count when published (or scheduled to go live). And the appointments customers book or the sales you make have no cap on any plan.
- Visitor traffic never takes your site offline: on the usage screen, you’ll see your estimated Site traffic (bandwidth served to visitors across your sites this month) for information only. Your published pages never go down or get blocked if you get a traffic spike.
- Your media library is unified: because storage belongs to your account, an image you upload once can be reused across any of your projects without taking up double the space.
- AI generations vs. Editor AI chat: generating a full site uses 1 generation credit, which has its own counter separate from the editor’s AI assistant allowance. That way, creating a site with AI never leaves you without quota to ask for edits afterward in the editor.
What happens when you approach or reach 100% of a limit and when monthly counters reset
When you get close to a resource cap, the indicator changes color and warns you ahead of time. If you reach 100% of a limit on your current plan:
- Pages, collections, CMS items, published offers, or published posts: you won’t be able to create or publish a new one until you withdraw/delete one or move up a plan, but everything already published keeps working and remains fully editable.
- Storage: you won’t be able to upload new files or images until you free up space in your library or upgrade your plan.
- AI assistant: the assistant pauses responses until the monthly cycle resets (on the free plan, the 3 initial site generations are a one-time account allowance, whereas the editor AI chat budget resets every month).
- Form submissions: we never throw a customer’s message away. If you go past your plan’s monthly submissions, new messages keep being saved so you never miss a lead, and the counter lets you know they are now outside your plan’s included allowance.
At the top of Usage and limits, you’ll see the exact number of days or hours until your monthly counters reset.
What happens if you downgrade and a project exceeds the new plan’s limits (Plan Overage)
If you ever move from Pro or Business down to the Starter (Free) plan and have a site with, say, 15 published pages and 12 active offers (while the free plan includes 3 pages and 3 offers), our golden rule applies: nothing is ever deleted.
- Your 15 pages stay published, remain live online, and you can keep editing their content in the editor as much as you want.
- A clear notice tells you how many items sit above the new plan (“12 more” than your plan limit).
- The only thing paused is adding more on top of what you already have: you won’t be able to create a 16th page until you upgrade again or bring your page count below the current plan’s limit.
