Read and manage messages received in Forms

View, filter, and reply to your form submissions in Website → Forms, and learn how monthly plan limits work.

On this page

Every message your visitors send through your site’s forms is collected in Website → Forms. That way, even if an email notification is delayed or lands in another folder of your personal inbox, you always have a backed-up, organized copy linked to each contact’s profile inside your véltica dashboard.

View submissions in Website → Forms and get alerts in the notification bell

Every time someone fills in and submits a form on your published page, three things happen at once:

  1. Alert in the dashboard bell (Notifications): the bell icon in the top-right corner of your dashboard lights up with a new submission alert. Clicking View message takes you straight to that submission’s details.
  2. Email notification: véltica sends an email with all submitted answers to your project’s main address (plus any extra addresses you added under the form’s Inbox settings in the editor).
  3. Record in Website → Forms: when you open this section from the left sidebar, you’ll see the submissions table showing the Contact, the Form they wrote from, the Date, and Actions. Click any row to open the full submission with all its answers.

Filter messages by form, status (new / read, starred), or search by text

When your site has several forms (for example, one on the Contact page, another for Quotes, and a sign-up box in the footer), you can organize your inbox using the tools in the top bar:

  • Filter by Form: open the All forms selector and pick a specific form to see only the submissions received through that part of your site.
  • Filter by Status: switch between All, New (messages you haven’t opened yet), Read, or Spam.
  • Starred (Starred only): click the star icon next to your most important messages to flag them for follow-up, and turn on Starred only whenever you want to focus on them.
  • Quick search (Search submissions…): type a person’s name, email address, a keyword from their message, or a tag to find a submission right away.

If you want to work with the answers in a spreadsheet, click Export CSV in the top right to download form-submissions.csv with your message history.

Copy the sender’s email to reply, or delete single and bulk messages

When you click a message to read its full details, you have quick actions to follow up with the contact and keep your inbox tidy:

  • Reply or copy the email: click Copy email to copy the sender’s address to your clipboard, or click Reply to open your default email app with their address and subject line ready.
  • Open their CRM record (Open profile): if you want to check whether this person has written to you before, bought an offer, or booked an appointment, click Open profile to jump straight to their record in Contacts.
  • Change read status or mark as spam: use Mark as unread if you want to leave the message pending for another team member, or Mark as spam to move unwanted submissions out of your main view.
  • Delete single or bulk messages: inside a submission’s detail view, click Delete message. If you need to clean up several test or old submissions at once, check the boxes on the left of each row in the table and click Delete in the bulk actions bar.

What happens when you approach your plan’s monthly form submission limit

Every véltica plan includes a monthly allowance of form submissions that resets automatically on the first day of each month (you can check your current Submissions this month counter at the top of the inbox or under Plans and billing):

  • You never lose a contact or a message: if your site gets a spike in traffic and you go over your plan’s monthly limit, the forms on your live site keep working normally, and visitors never see an error when sending their details.
  • Safely stored messages: submissions that arrive after your monthly limit are still saved securely in your account, and your inbox shows the notice “You’ve gone over your plan’s limit — You have messages you can’t see. They’re saved: upgrade your plan to read them.”
  • How to unlock them: as soon as you upgrade your subscription to a higher plan, you can immediately open and read every message that was held for you.
