The Contacts section in the left sidebar is your business’s central directory (CRM) in véltica. Instead of keeping form messages in one place, catalog buyers in another, and people who book appointments on a separate list, véltica brings your entire relationship with each customer together under a single profile identified by their email address.
How Contacts fills itself automatically (form submissions, offer buyers, and appointment bookings)
You don’t need to copy details by hand every time someone interacts with your website. Your Contacts list builds and updates itself automatically from three main sources:
- Form: when a visitor submits any form on your site, their contact is created (or updated if it already existed) along with the tags configured on that form.
- Purchase: when a customer buys a physical product, service, or digital product from your Catalogue, their profile automatically logs the order and adds the amount to their lifetime Total value.
- Booking: when someone schedules an appointment or session on your calendar, the booking is linked to their contact profile.
Because Email acts as the unique identifier, if someone first writes to you through a contact form, books an appointment a week later, and then buys an offer using the same email address, all three actions are neatly grouped inside the same contact record.
Create a contact manually and what their profile stores (contact details, purchases, bookings, messages, and internal notes)
If you assist a customer by phone, in person, or on social media and want to add them to your database:
- Go to Contacts in your main dashboard menu and click Add contact in the top right.
- Fill in their Name, Email, and Phone, assign Tags to categorize them (for example,
VIP,Wholesale, orIn-person event), and optionally write an Initial note. - Click Save to create their record.
Clicking any person on your list opens the Contact details view, giving you a complete picture of their history with your business:
- Top Summary: shows their cumulative metrics at a glance (Purchases, Total value spent, Bookings, and Forms submitted), along with the date of their First interaction, Last interaction, and their First contact source (Form, Purchase, Booking, or Manual).
Activitytab: a chronological timeline bringing together everything that has happened with that customer (submitted forms, paid orders, refunds, booked or rescheduled appointments, and notes from your team).Forms,Purchases, andBookingstabs: filter the history by category so you can open a specific order, appointment, or past message without scrolling through every other event.Notestab (Internal team note): a private space where you and your project collaborators can leave reminders about customer preferences, phone agreements, or follow-ups. These notes are 100% internal—the customer never sees them.- Tags and Status: from the same profile you can add or remove Tags and change the contact’s Status between Active, Spam, or Blocked.
Filter contacts by source, tags, status, or starred
As your database grows, you can segment it from the top bar in Contacts to quickly find the people you’re looking for:
- By source: filter who arrived through a Form, a Purchase, or a Booking.
- By commercial activity: find customers who already have completed purchases or active bookings.
- By tags or status: pick a specific tag (such as tags assigned by your newsletter or quote forms) or filter between Active, Spam, and Blocked contacts.
- Starred (
Starred only): mark your repeat customers or key leads with a star so you can pull them up in one click.
Saved contact limits by plan (Free, Pro, and Business)
The number of profiles you can store in Contacts depends on your project’s active plan:
| Plan | Contacts list capacity |
|---|---|
| Free (Starter) | Up to 100 saved contacts |
| Pro | Up to 2,500 saved contacts |
| Business | Unlimited contacts |
If you reach the 100-contact limit on the free plan, all the contacts and histories you already have remain intact and accessible in your dashboard, but the Add contact button will be disabled (
You have reached the free plan limit of 100 contacts.) until you free up room by deleting test records or upgrading your plan to Pro or Business.
