Tour of the project dashboard

How your project dashboard is organized: home overview, sidebar menu, quick search, notifications, assistant, and team notes.

On this page

While the Editor is the workshop where you design your pages, the dashboard is where you run the day-to-day of your business: your pages, blog, sales, appointments, contacts, and site settings.

The Home screen (Overview): site status, quick metrics, and shortcuts

When you open a project, you land on Home (Dashboard). It is your command center and brings together the most important parts of your site in cards (widgets):

  • First steps (Get your site ready to publish): an interactive checklist showing which steps remain to get your project ready (adding pages, creating an offer, completing sample items started by the AI, or publishing the site).
  • Published site: shows whether your site is online or Not published, its active address (yourname.veltica.com or your custom domain), its SSL ready status, and quick buttons to Open in Editor, View site, or Copy link.
  • Visits and Sales (Last 30 days): quick charts with your Views, Unique visitors, Countries, Most popular page, Net revenue, Average order, and Payouts on the way to your bank.
  • Shortcuts to your operations: cards showing the latest activity from Pages, Upcoming appointments, Catalogue, Forms, Contacts, and orders To ship.

You can customize your Home screen by clicking Edit widgets: rearrange cards, resize their width, or remove the ones you do not use. Nothing is lost—you can always bring them back with Add widget.

How the sidebar menu is organized (Website, Catalogue, Sales, Analytics, Contacts, Team, and Settings)

The left sidebar groups all of your project’s tools by work area:

Menu section What you will find inside
Home Your project overview, key metrics, and team notes.
Website Pages (structure and SEO), Blog (posts, categories, and authors), Content (dynamic CMS collections), and Forms (inbox for submitted messages).
Catalogue All offers, Digital products, Physical products, Services, and bookings (Scheduled services and Appointments).
Sales Payments (payment history, refunds, and disputes), discount Coupons, Shipping (rates, countries, and orders to ship), and bank Payouts.
Analytics Detailed statistics for Visits, Sales, and Bookings by period.
Contacts Your automatic CRM with everyone who has messaged you, bought from you, or booked an appointment.
Team Invitations and role permissions for the people collaborating with you on this project.
Settings Site settings, domain, backups, usage and limits, brand style, business information, region and currency, legal policies, and integrations (Stripe, Omnisend, and Google Analytics).

If an important setting needs your attention—for instance, if you are missing business details required to publish your policies or have an open dispute in Stripe—the menu displays a subtle indicator next to the relevant section.

Quick dashboard search (finding pages, offers, contacts, and sections)

At the top of the dashboard is the search bar. It does more than search menu items: it searches across your entire project at once and groups the results so you can jump anywhere in a single click:

  • Go to: any screen or setting in the dashboard (for example, type “domain”, “billing”, “policies”, or “cms”).
  • Pages and Content: jump straight to a page on your site or a CMS collection by name.
  • Offers: open the record for any product, service, or bookable service.
  • Contacts: find a customer by name or email address.

The notification bell (sales, appointments, messages, stock, and account alerts)

In the top-right corner of the dashboard is the Notifications bell icon. Real-time alerts that require action or follow-up arrive here:

  • Sales and stock: confirmation of every new sale and alerts when a physical product is running low (Only X left of…) or out of stock (…is sold out), with a direct button to Restock.
  • Bookings: alerts when a customer books a new appointment, reschedules, or cancels.
  • Form messages: instant notice when someone writes to you through your site (Someone wrote → View message).
  • Team, domains, and account: invitations to collaborate on a project, pending site transfers to accept, confirmation that Your transfer code is ready for a domain, or alerts if there was an issue charging your subscription renewal.

You can dismiss individual alerts or click Clear notifications once you are all caught up.

The dashboard Assistant and Team notes

The dashboard includes two tools built to save you steps and keep your team aligned:

  • Dashboard Assistant: from the floating Assistant button, you can ask questions about your business in plain language (“How much did I sell this month?”, “How many appointments do I have this week?”, “Who are my top customers?”, “Do I have unread messages?”) or ask it to take you to a section, draft a blog post, or prepare a new product or service listing.
  • Team notes: on the Home screen you will find the Team notes widget, a collaborative log where you and your teammates can leave to-dos, decisions, or quick project jottings (press Cmd + Enter or Ctrl + Enter to post a note right away).

Switch projects or create a new one from the bottom card

At the bottom of the left sidebar is the project card showing the name and icon of the site you are currently working on.

Clicking it opens the list of all your projects (both the ones you own and the ones you were invited to). From that same menu you can:

  • Jump to another project in one click.
  • Click Create new to build an additional site.
  • View and restore recently deleted projects while they are within their 30-day grace period.
