Create a site with the AI Assistant or from a template

When you create a new project in véltica, you never have to face a blank screen unless you want to. You can ask the AI Assistant to put together a complete website for your business or choose a template designed by our team.

Create with AI: describe your business and explore suggested ideas

On the creation screen, the main Tell us what you want to build box lets you describe in a couple of sentences what your business does, what you offer, and what you want your site to achieve.

• Not sure where to start? Click No ideas? Try an example (or Another example) or pick one of the suggested categories for your industry—such as Services, Restaurant, Shop, Wellness, or Portfolio—to load a sample prompt you can adapt to your business.
• Set your industry and goals: below the prompt, you can adjust your industry and the goals for your site (Take bookings, Sell services, Sell products, Publish a blog, Showcase my business).
• Upload your own photos from the start (optional): add your own photos or drop them into the box. The AI will place them directly into your site’s layout, giving priority to the first ones on the cover.

When your description is ready, click Generate my site (or use the Cmd + Enter / Ctrl + Enter shortcut).

If you close the window halfway through the AI creation wizard, you do not lose your progress or spend another generation: when you return to Home, you will see You have an unfinished site and can click Continue to pick up right where you left off.

Choose your initial sections, visual style, fonts, and color palette

Once the AI builds the initial proposal, you enter a visual wizard with a live preview where you can fine-tune the result step by step before creating the project:

1. Combination and Style (Combination / Style): start with the combination Picked by AI or try other complete design styles (Editorial, Studio, Calm, Fintech, Quiet luxury, Brutalist, among others) that change the shape of buttons, cards, borders, and spacing between sections all at once.
2. Colors (Colors): review the palette Created by the AI, drag the Hue slider to shift all colors together while preserving contrast, click any individual color to adjust it, or explore Other palettes (Modern, Warm, Elegant, Dark, Soft).
3. Typography (Typography / Type): choose the pairing of heading font and body font while watching the change in real time on your page.
4. Animation (Animation): choose how content appears as visitors scroll down your site (Subtle, Smooth, Elegant, Dynamic, Reveal, Cinema, or None).
5. Pages and Sections (Sections): toggle which pages to include in the menu, reorder sections with Move up and Move down, hide any you do not need right now, or click Another variant to try a different layout while keeping the same copy the AI wrote.

Initial contact details and creating the site

In the Your business (Brand / Details) and Contact and socials steps, you finish customizing the base identity of your project:

• Business name: appears in the site title, navigation bar, footer, and everywhere the copy mentions your brand. Changing it here updates it everywhere at once.
• Logo (optional): upload your logo to replace the one in the navigation bar and footer.
• Contact email, address, and socials (optional): add the email where contact form messages should arrive (if left empty, your account email is used), your physical address, phone, WhatsApp, or social links. Everything is optional and can be skipped to fill in later.

When you click Create site (or Create project), your project is saved and opens directly in the editor.

Start from a pre-designed template or a blank page

If you prefer not to use AI, you have two other ways to get started below the generation box:

• From a template: open the template catalog organized by category. When you pick one, you can preview it and immediately customize its Project name, Font pairings (Heading font and Body font), and Color palettes (or go back to From the template with Reset) before clicking Create site.
• Blank project: create a site with a clean canvas so you can build each section from scratch using the Templates or Insert panel in the editor.

What are the pending drafts prepared by the AI (“What still needs completing”)

When you ask the AI for a site with a shop, services, bookings, or a blog, it does more than design the pages: it also creates real sample records in your catalog and blog so you can see your site structured and populated from minute one.

Because those services, products, or posts carry sample prices, schedules, or placeholder text, véltica marks them with the To complete badge:

• In the editor, you see them placed on the canvas so you can design comfortably.
• On your published site, they do not go on sale or open to the public until you open their record in the dashboard, review the real price or schedule, and publish them.

That way, you can publish your site on day one without worrying that someone might buy a product at a sample price or book a time slot you have not confirmed yet.
